I graduated from the Jesuit school Gonzaga School of Law in 1979, practiced law for a year and then attend the University of Denver School of Law, graduating in 1981 with a Master's in Tax Law.  Immediately thereafter, I was a tax lawyer for then Touche Ross, in Denver Colorado.  A client asked me to work for his real estate company and in 1983 I became in house counsel and later started my own firm.  So I have bascially practiced law for over 30 years ~ hard to believe, even for me.

I enjoy helping consumers through their problems.  I find the Lawyergist review process almost comical, where some lawyers that I have never heard of in Denver get 5 stars even though I have never seen them in court.  I was a chapter 7 trustee for close to 15 years and know all the bankruptcy lawyers.  Most that I know are excellent, but strangely, the ones with highest reviews file few, very few cases.  So, I do not understand how a lawyer with a few years of experience and one client review has a top Lawyergist score.  Oh well, it is what it is!
