Biography
John A. Hartmann, III, is a managing partner of the law firm and Chair of the Family Law department. He joined the firm in 1979 and has exclusively concentrated his practice in complex family law matters. Most complex cases are settled through negotiation, however many require litigation. Mr. Hartmann has a state wide reputation for his litigation skills.
Mr. Hartmann is the author of numerous articles on family law issues, such as evaluating a spouse’s business for purposes of equitable distribution, the intricate nuances of going to trial and determining whether or not litigation is the proper course for a client’s case.
Raised in New Jersey, he graduated from Villanova University and received his law degree from Rutgers University. Mr. Hartmann also has an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
