I assist clients in the development and management of intellectual property (IP) portfolios. My technical expertise includes software, medical devices, building materials, energy-related devices, chemical compounds, and plant/agrocultural technologies. Aside from patent procurement and management, I have assisted many clients in the procurement and enforcement of federal trademark and copyright registrations, as well as instituting trade secret protection policies and safeguards.

Prior to joining Lee & Hayes, I worked at a large international law firm, focusing my practice on IP procurement matters and IP litigation. During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a research scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. My areas of research included porphyrins (cancer treatment), nuclear remediation and testing, and cathode and battery technology.
