John practices in the areas of business and tax law with an emphasis on corporate and business transactions, real estate, taxation and estate planning. He counsels businesses and their owners in a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, buy-sell agreements, medical practice agreements, estate and business succession and general tax matters. In the tax area, John has focused on estate and gift tax, choice of business entity and charitable organizations.

Licensed to practice in Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. Admitted to practice before U.S. Tax Court, U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Georgia and South Carolina, Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals and all State Courts of Georgia.
