A native of North Augusta, South Carolina, John E. Suthers was born in 1957. He is the managing partner and founder of Suthers Law Firm, which litigates and takes to trial substantial civil damage suits. Mr. Suthers earned an undergraduate degree from University of South Carolina and graduated with honors. He received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

He is a licensed attorney in Georgia and South Carolina, and has extensive experience in cases involving medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, serious personal injuries, wrongful deaths, business and contract disputes, defective products, Federal Employer's Liability Act cases, and railroad litigation.
