Biography
Mr. Cordisco is the Founder and Chairman of Have A Heart, a non-profit foundation benefitting special needs children, which has been responsible for building two special needs parks/playgrounds, one in Newtown and one in Doylestown. He created a special needs camp and provides financial assistance for families whose children attend summer camps. He has been involved with numerous philanthropic projects through his partnership with Food for the Poor, a non-profit organization based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, including the building 20 houses and providing a fresh water supply to Bord de Mer, Haiti, the construction of dormitories for a special needs orphanage in Guatemala, and the construction of school in Nicaragua which provides bathing and feeding for pre-school and early elementary school students.
Mr. Cordisco is a sponsor of scholarships for students at Bristol Junior/Senior High School, and has served as on the board of numerous organizations, including the Bucks County Charitable Board of Trustees, the Bucks County Intermediate Unit, the Lower Bucks County Vocational Technical School, and the Bristol Borough Board of Education, where he also served as a past President. He has served as benefactor to provide funds for expansion of the Anglo-Russian Library in St. Petersburg, Russia, as well as to the Legacy of Life Foundation, which benefits the women in crisis center. Currently, Mr. Cordisco serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Conwell Eagan Catholic High School, a committee member and sponsor of St. Ann Catholic Church’s Thanksgiving Food Drive for needy families in Bristol, PA, and a member of the Bristol Lion’s Club.
