Biography

Layton Ruffin concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate and healthcare law, providing counsel on a range of matters including healthcare, commercial transactions, purchasing, leasing, and commercial real estate leasing arrangements.

Prior to joining Moore & Van Allen, Mr. Ruffin practiced with a boutique law firm that focused on complex litigation. In this capacity, Mr. Ruffin litigated matters in state and federal court and tried numerous multi-week cases to verdict. Additionally, he has argued multiple cases before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and South Carolina Supreme Court.
