John L. Wong advises individuals and business owners on all aspects of estate planning. John also represents trustees, executors, administrators, beneficiaries, heirs, guardians and conservators in all matters related to probate, trusts and conservatorships.

John believes that quality and experienced legal representation should not be cost-prohibitive. With estate planning, regardless of the size of the client’s estate, John provides each client with a customized and well-prepared estate plan that meets the client’s individual situation and desires within the confines of the law. In litigation, he believes in zealously advocating for his clients in a fashion that allows for a quick and favorable result, but with the experience to take matters to trial.

For several years before establishing Modern Wealth Law, John worked at one of the nation’s preeminent estate planning law firms. He was an integral part of the team that represented several well-known estates.

John has advised and prepared estate plans for clients that range from young professionals beginning their career and starting a family, to mulit-millionaire business owners that seek business succession planning for the next generation.

He is one of the few attorneys in the area who has expertise in both estate planning, administration and related litigation. John’s trust and probate litigation and trial experience includes:

• Representing beneficiaries against trustees who have breached their fiduciary duties;

• Representing fiduciaries during trust and probate administration and defending fiduciaries against creditors and beneficiaries;

John L. Wong received his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School and was a member of the Dean’s List.

John is a member of the Trusts and Estates section of the California Bar Association, a member of the Trust and Estates section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Trusts and Estates section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association.

John resides in Irvine, California, with his wife, Anh. In his spare time, he enjoys hot yoga, golf and anything outdoors.
