Mickey Aberman’s practice consists primarily of counseling clients on business matters, and negotiating and structuring transactions for mid-sized businesses. Several of his clients are US subsidiaries of foreign-based companies. Handling acquisitions and divestitures also comprise a significant portion of Mickey's practice 

Mickey has extensive experience in legal issues that arise in the creation and transfer of computer software and other intangible technology, and with transactions involving complex finance and tax issues. He also works closely with members of the accounting profession and has extensive experience handling matters involving the application of accounting principles and other accounting issues. Approximately fifteen percent of his time is spent dealing with business litigation, usually with one of the firm’s trial lawyers.
