John Carlin began practicing Bankruptcy law in 2003 after working as a research associate for Lexis Nexis®. He quickly was promoted to a Managing Attorney at one of America's largest consumer  Bankruptcy law firms. During this time, he filed thousands of petitions and gained significant understanding and experience of Consumer Bankruptcy Law. He has deep compassion for his clients and a strong commitment to their needs.

Since the formation of Chang and Carlin, LLP, John Carlin has handled significant litigation in the United States Bankruptcy Court. He has successfully discharged thousands of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy cases and confirmed hundreds of Chapter 13 reorganization plans. John and his Associates represent every part of their clients' Bankruptcy matters and are always available for assistance.

John Carlin has taught Continuing Legal Education Seminars to fellow attorneys on the Bankruptcy process. He has forced creditors to pay thousands of dollars in sanctions penalties for violations of his clients' rights.
