Steve Wills focuses on patent prosecution and patent portfolio strategy. Steve has deep experience, both as an engineer and an attorney, in various technologies, including engine controls and diagnostics, control of manufactured component composition and microstructure, medical devices, after-treatment systems, oilfield technologies, applied electronics and software. Steve is an inventor or co-inventor on over 20 United States patents. Prior to joining GTC, Steve was in-house Patent Counsel for Cummins Inc. where he was a trusted advisor of upper-level management on key strategic intellectual property and business issues. Prior to Cummins, Steve was in private practice where he focused on patent prosecution and strategy work in a variety of technology areas. Steve holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University and a J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
