John Townsend's goal as an attorney has always been to help clients get through difficult situations. His consistent objective is to help clients manage their situation, come to a resolution, and move on with their lives and businesses. A son of the Lowcountry, he has a love for the water and an appreciation for its bearing on risk, liability, business, property, and the people who spend their time on and around it. He also holds a Real Estate Broker's licence and a Residential Builder's license and has civil litigation experience in cases involving partnership and shareholder disputes, maritime claims and defense, construction issues, contracts; and personal injury.

We also counsel clients on a variety of business matters with the aim of avoiding future litigation. I am admitted to the South Carolina Bar and to practice before all South Carolina state courts, the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
