Mr. John W. Callinan is a Certified Elder Law Attorney.  Of over 79,145 licensed attorneys in the State of New Jersey, fewer than 60 are Certified Elder Law Attorneys.

John is the author of the book New Jersey Elder Law:  A Planning and Resource Guide, published by ALM Legal Publications, the publisher of the New Jersey Law Journal.

John has won a Super Law Award in the field of Elder Law in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.  In addition, John has won a Top 100 Attorney Award in 2014 and 2015, a feat no other elder law attorney in the state has accomplished.

John is one of the best known elder law attorneys in the State of New Jersey.  He has served as lead counsel in numerous federal lawsuits against the State of New Jersey on various issues affecting the Medicaid program.  John is the current Chair of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys Litigation Committee.
