Biography

I am an experienced litigation attorney in North Carolina. I represent employers and insurers in cases involving compensability issues, employment and contractor disputes, insurance coverage matters, subrogation/lien rights, and ERISA and Medicare compliance. I represent non-insured employers in civil penalty matters before the Industrial Commission. I defend workers’ compensation claims throughout North Carolina. I also represent clients in Defense Base Act (DBA) and Lonshore Harbor Workers' Compensation Act (LHWCA) claims before the Department of Labor.
