Jon McAvoy joined JacksonWhite in 2014 and was promoted to a firm partner in 2020. He current serves as co-manager for the firm’s family law department. His practice focuses on divorce, legal separation, the division of community assets and debts, and child custody issues. Prior to joining the firm, Jon attended Brigham Young University, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in business. He also worked as a senior fiscal analyst for the Arizona State Legislature’s Joint Legislative Budget Committee and advised state legislators on budget related issues for the Arizona Judicial Branch, and various other state agencies. Jon received his Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and has over 10 years’ experience working as a family law attorney.
