Jon Schwalbach is a trial lawyer specializing in medical malpractice, personal injury, elder abuse, and wrongful death cases for plaintiffs.

Born in Ventura, California, and raised in Thousand Oaks, Jon went to college at Duke University. He then graduated from USC Gould School of Law where he was a member of the Interdisciplinary Law Journal and served as treasurer for the Latino Law Students Association. While in law school, Jon was a summer intern at Public Counsel, one of the nation’s largest pro bono law firms.

After law school, seeking broad and diverse experiences, Jon practiced in a range of areas, from business litigation to family law. Eager to become a trial lawyer, he then worked as a litigation associate at Reback, McAndrews, Kjar, Warford & Stockalper where he defended medical and legal malpractice cases. In 2018 Jon joined Kjar, McKenna & Stockalper where he became a partner. After a decade as a defense lawyer, Jon began representing plaintiffs in 2021 at El Dabe | Ritter Trial Lawyers, focusing on representing victims with catastrophic injuries.
