Biography
Ryan joined the Toxic Torts Section of Beasley Allen in October 2011. Since then, his practice has concentrated primarily on the BP Oil Spill litigation, where he represents businesses, commercial fishermen, and individuals who suffered injuries resulting from exposure to oil and dispersants.
Notable Cases
Ryan was also part of the section’s team that represented trucking businesses in the Hot Fuel multi-district litigation against oil companies which eventually resulted in over $20 million in settlements.
In addition, he investigates cases where individuals have suffered severe lung injuries either while on the job or in other capacities. These injuries are wide-ranging and can affect anyone, as the lungs are the only internal organ constantly exposed to the outside environment.
