Jonathan Hollan (“Jon”) joined Aguiar Injury Lawyers as a law clerk in September 2013. Prior to this, Jon had spent his law school tenure working in various law firms focusing in civil litigation. Upon completing law school, Jon chose to begin his legal career representing personal injury victims as an attorney with Aguiar Injury Lawyers.

Jon focuses on litigating a wide variety of personal injury claims, including wrongful death, commercial trucking collisions, slip and fall accidents, premises liability, insurance bad faith, and motor vehicle collisions. During his time as a law clerk, Jon worked closely with a variety of expert witnesses throughout the country, including working hands-on with a rapid response team at the scene of a multi-vehicle trucking collision.

Jon is a native of Hazard, Kentucky. He spent the summer of 2013 as an IOLTA Fellow, working in the Hazard office of the Appalachian Legal Research and Defense Fund. Growing up in eastern Kentucky instilled key values upon him, particularly the importance of community support and standing up for those in need of help.

Jon received his Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown College in 2011, where he was also a four-year letterman and captain of the varsity golf team. He received his Juris Doctor with the distinction of cum laude from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2014.

Outside of the office, Jon enjoys golf, tennis, reading, University of Kentucky athletics, and spending time with his family and friends.

Jon is licensed to practice in Kentucky.
