Jonathan comes from a blue-collar  family.  His generation was the first in the family to graduate from college.  His ancestors have all worked in factories, coal mines, and other labor positions.  Many in his family have been hurt on-the-job or have become   knows firsthand the importance of the Social Security program.  Both of his parents became disabled before they could retire and pursued claims for Disability.  Both were wrongfully denied before they were ultimately approved years after filing their is married with three children.  He is active in the community, is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of West Virginia, and Tennessee courts.
