Jonathan grew up in New York City. He attended Cornell University to study Political Science and then to Tulane Law School to pursue his JD. Jonathan's law school graduating class was displaced by Hurricane Katrina, which ravaged New Orleans.

After graduating from Tulane Law, Jonathan founded and managed a construction company in New Orleans, where he met Jeff (Moshe) Admon. They have been friends ever since. After several years as a successful builder/developer, Jonathan moved to Colorado to become a pioneer in the cannabis industry, where he built and grew a highly successful business and was at the forefront of legalizing cannabis in Colorado and other states.

Jonathan is highly sought after throughout the US for his deep and broad knowledge of the cannabis industry. Recently, he decided to pursue a new path as a lawyer, focusing on civil and cannabis litigation.

In Jonathan's spare time, he is an avid skier and marksman.

Jonathan is a licensed attorney Colorado, and pending admission in Washington and Texas.
