Jonathan W. Cooner is a personal injury attorney at Alexander Shunnarah Personal Injury Attorneys, P.C., specializing in personal injury; automobile, truck and motorcycle accidents; and wrongful death matters. Cooner graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in political science, before receiving his Juris Doctor from the Birmingham School of Law.

Cooner served in the JAG Corps of the United States Army Reserves for 8 years as a non-commissioned officer and was a member of the 213th Legal Operations Detachment.

Cooner is actively involved in the American Bar Association, Alabama Bar Association and in 2018 was admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court.   He enjoys playing tennis and golf, and resides in Birmingham, Alabama.
