Attorney Joseph D. Mr. Lento, a Philadelphia native, earned his bachelor's degree in political science and business from Villanova University before graduating with his juris doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law.  Acceptance into the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidates School and working full-time while earning his law degree are accomplishments that Mr. Lento is also proud.  Mr. Lento threw his hat in the ring the day he graduated from law school and he began practicing law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and later New York.  He learned what it takes to win from a legend among Philadelphia criminal defense attorneys, and Mr. Lento understands that when his clients come to him for help, they are often facing one of their most difficult times in life. Knowing that life is not always easy, Mr. Lento take clients' concerns personally, and he is only satisfied when a client is satisfied. Mr. Lento is highly experienced in family law matters, having worked for close to a decade for one of the nation's busiest family courts and also having fought in the trenches for family law clients in matters that could not be closer to the heart.  He has helped thousands of clients in cases involving, but not limited to, child custody, visitation, relocation, grandparent and third party rights, protection from abuse (PFA), restraining orders (TRO/FRO), child and spousal support, divorce, and pre and post-nuptial matters, and he understands how much is at stake because nothing is more important than family.  Having obtained countless successful outcomes for clients and their families through both collaborative efforts and also when litigation is necessary, Mr. Lento brings years of experience to the table.

As a licensed attorney in New Jersey and New York and various federal courts, Mr. Lento's professional experience also includes his past work with the School District of Philadelphia and his past work with at-risk youth for the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Lento serves as Government Counsel to Galloway Township, New Jersey. He served as the City Solicitor and Government Counsel for the Borough of Penns Grove, New Jersey. As a First Judicial District of Pennsylvania certified arbitrator and an Eleventh Judicial District of Pennsylvania certified arbitrator, Mr. Lento presided over civil actions filed respectively in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County and the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County.
