Joe Henderson is a highly-respected and experienced corporate, regulatory, information technology, SAAS, and startup attorney with senior-level and global managerial experience. He is rated “AV-preeminent” with Martindale-Hubbell—the highest achievable rating; “superb” with —the highest category, and honored among his peers as a Super Lawyer—among the top 5% of attorneys in Minnesota. Joe’s background also includes work as a litigation attorney, the founder of a software company, a campaign manager for both statewide and a federal offices, an Assistant Attorney General, a federal lobbyist, and a U.S. Congressional Aide.

Henderson is a native of White Bear Lake, Minnesota. He attended the University of St. Thomas, receiving a B.A. in Business, Marketing and Political Science. After undergrad, Joe worked in Washington, DC as a Legislative Assistant to a Congressman and as a trade and tax lobbyist before returning to attend the University of Minnesota Law School, consistently ranked as one of the top 20 law schools in the nation. Joe served as an Assistant Attorney General under Hubert H. Humphrey, III; an associate attorney with a Minneapolis corporate law firm; and as senior in-house corporate counsel with a global financial services company before launching his independent law practice. Joe has conversational competence in Spanish having studied it throughout his secondary and university education and living in Guatemala in an intensive language immersion program.

Joe and his wife Jill are the proud parents of hilarious identical twin boys Emmett and Edwin. They run an active double-entrepreneur household and share a love of travel, lakes, sports, the Great British Baking Show, and adventurous eating.
