Joe joins MWSS+ with years of litigation experience predominately as counsel for a Fortune 500 insurance company. Joe brings an aggressive mentality to MWSS+ with experience representing clients in personal injury, premises liability, property damage, construction defect, workers compensation, fire losses, consumer and creditor rights, and tax controversy. Joe has appeared in numerous venues all over Idaho and has successfully argued cases before the Supreme Court of Idaho.

Joe honed his golf game while attending California State University, San Marcos. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and completed his capstone project on predicting political outcome through a statistical analysis of campaign contributions. Joe is a proud Gonzaga basketball fan being a graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law. He focused his legal education in Uniform Commercial Code, bankruptcy, and taxation courses. Joe was a legal intern for the Gonzaga Federal Tax Clinic, serving as the Research Assistant for the clinic’s director during his second and third years in law school. Joe’s briefing before the U.S. Tax Court was instrumental in obtaining an abatement of substantial tax penalties for a small business client.

As the son of a United States Navy Veteran, Joe grew up primarily in San Diego, California and has lived in six different states. Joe enjoys spending time with his family, traveling to new places, cheering for Gonzaga basketball and is an single-digit handicap golfer.
