After earning my bachelor's degree in public administration from Upper Iowa University, I went on to earn my master's degree in criminology from the University of Alabama. I completed my law degree at the University of Baltimore and went on to earn my master of laws degree in trial advocacy from Temple University. I also served in the U.S. Army from 1988 through 2010.

Today, I dedicate my career to helping civilians and military personnel who are facing charges for any kind of criminal offense. I am admitted to practice in Maryland and Washington, D.C. as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and various state and federal courts.

I am extremely proud of many of my courtroom accomplishments; having been able to discredit law enforcement and gain aquittals after coerced confessions; discreding individuals who made false allegations of rape; and demonstrating the innocence of countless clients.
