A West Michigan native, Joshua Tanis co-founded Tanis Schultz in 2011 with Steven D. Schultz. Before serving Grand Rapids as an attorney, he received his undergrad in Political Science from Grand Valley State University. He would go on to graduate cum laude from the Thomas Cooley Law School. A diversely experienced and capable lawyer, Mr. Tanis practices divorce, criminal defense, contract, estate planning, and general civil litigation.
To keep up with the latest changes in state and federal law, Mr. Tanis maintains membership with the Grand Rapids Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, and the Federal Court’s Western District of Michigan.
