My experience in the area of Social Security Disability includes over 12 years working for the Social Security Administration as an Attorney Advisor at a hearing office.  As an Attorney Advisor at a Social Security Administration hearing office I wrote decisions for Federal Administrative Law Judges.  I reviewed case files and, if needed, conferred with judges to discuss inconsistencies in the evidence.  I addition, I took part in pre-hearing conferences with attorneys and non-attorney representatives to discus cases that did not require a hearing before an Administrative Law Judge.

During my time with the Social Security Administration, regulations were issued that created the positions of Senior Attorney Advisors.  I was selected as one of the original Senior Attorney Advisors.  Senior Attorney Advisors were authorized to review cases, conduct investigations and, where appropriate, issue Fully Favorable Attorney Advisor decisions as independent decision makers.  During the five years I was a Senior Attorney Advisor, I reviewed several thousand cases and issued more than 2,000 Fully Favorable Attorney Advisor Decisions.

I have over 12 years experience representing individuals who have applied for Social Security Disability.  During this time I have worked as a consultant for small law firms to help improve their Social Security Disability practices.  I have also worked as a contract hearing attorney for multiple companies.

In addition, I have been in charge of several Legal Seminars on the topic of Social Security Disability.
