I am a Louisville native. I am a 1986 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, a 1990 magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Centre College, and a 1994 graduate of the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. I attended law school on a full academic scholarship. I was a contributor to the Journal of Law and Education and the Journal of Family Law and was the Alumni Editor of the Brandeis Brief Magazine. I also was on the Moot Court Board and the Environmental Law Moot Court Team.

I have practiced family law continuously since joining the bar in 1994. I focus my practice on complex dissolution of marriage actions, child custody disputes, parenting time issues, child support determination, and post-decree issues. I also have experience in medical malpractice and product liability defense. I am a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Louisville Bar Association, and have served as the Chair of the Louisville Bar Association’s Family Law Committee.

My husband and I have a blended family of five amazing daughters. My interests include social justice, sustainable agriculture and conservation, painting and reading.
