Biography

I have been practicing law in Charleston, South Carolina since 1992. I've handled a wide variety of cases, mostly relating to maritime transportation and international commerce. I am a boater and enjoy working on boat-related transactions and disputes. Until recently, I worked in medium to large law firms, my last firm being the international law firm of K&L Gates LLP. In May of 2019, I opened Hines Law LCC. My business model is to provide the same services in maritime and commercial law, but at prices consistent with a solo or small boutique firm.
