I joined Rynn & Janowsky, LLP in 1997  - first as a legal secretary and then as a paralegal.  While working fulltime and raising a family, I attended law school.  In 2012, I made the natural transition into an associate attorney at Rynn & Janowsky.  My practice concentrates on advising business owners,  employers and agribusinesses. 

I provide a wide range of services to agribusinesses - from start up formation to operating challenges.  I concentrate on federal litigation, in district court and bankruptcy court, to enforce produce sellers' statutory rights under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act. I also assist agribusiness marketers in perfecting security interests in growing crops and related secured transactions under the adopted provisions of the Uniform Commercial Code and the Federal Food Security Act.

In addition to the agricultural law practice, I also counsel employers in employment law matters.   I have represented employers on wage and hour civil actions and administrative proceedings.  I has also successfully won unemployment insurance benefit appeals in multiple states. I have assisted numerous employers in developing employee handbooks and employment arbitration agreements.
