Biography

I am an experienced trial attorney and litigator practicing in the areas of personal injury defense, general civil and trial practice, insurance coverage law, insurance defense, family law, and traffic citations. My family law practice includes cases involving paternity, divorce, uncontested divorce, child custody and modification, child support and modification, and child visitation and modification. I have experience in all facets of the legal system, including bench trials, jury trials, mediation and civil appeals.

Originally from South Carolina, I moved to White Hall, Arkansas with my family to attend high school. I remained in Arkansas and received my Bachelor's degree in History, with a minor in political science, from Henderson State University in 2005, graduating Magna Cum Laude while working nights. I then immediately entered law school at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas where I graduated in 2008. I have been licensed to practice law before the Arkansas Supreme Court since 2008. I was admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit in 2009 and then before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western District of Arkansas in 2011.

I have lived in Northwest Arkansas since beginning law school. I now live in Benton County with my wife, where we have been an open foster home for the Arkansas Department of Children and Family Services. We recently temporarily closed our home to foster care following the birth of our child, but look forward to future work with Arkansas' children.
