Mr. Hamady works with JLJ Law Group PLLC, a Utah-based law firm that specializes in immigration, criminal, and family law.

Mr. Hamady’s practice focuses on family law. In his practice, he has assisted a broad range of clients, from individuals seeking divorce to individuals or families seeking adoption, and many legal issues in between.

Mr. Hamady understands that legal issues, especially those related to family, can cause significant stress for clients and understands the importance of having an attorney who maintains communication and addresses concerns in a compassionate, professional, effective, and timely manner.

Many of his clients can attest to the quality of his work and the outcomes he pursues on his client’s behalf.

Before practicing law, Mr. Hamady externed with the Utah Court of Appeals, interned for the Rocky Mountain Innocence Project, served as a Teacher’s Assistant for the Legal Writing Program at S.J. Quinney College of Law, and served as a BioLaw Fellow with the S.J. Quinney Center for Law and Biomedical Sciences. He also interned with Utah Legal Services’ Native American Law Program, interned with the American Civil Liberties Union of Utah, staffed the S.J. Quinney Mobile Home Park Helpline, served as the Public Affairs and Special Events Officer for the S.J. Quinney International Law Society, and served as the Executive Vice President of the Social Justice Student Initiative.

Before attending law school at the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law, Mr. Hamady lived in California and Beirut, Lebanon. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (Minor in Political Science) from the University of California, Irvine, was selected for the Washington DC Internship Program, and interned with the United States House of Representatives.

Justin is also active in the community and currently serves as a volunteer attorney for Pro Se family law hearings in Salt Lake and Utah County. In addition, he serves as a volunteer every summer for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp where he creates and conducts a seminar on social justice for more than 250 youth.
