Justin has broad litigation experience in a variety of matters.  These include all areas of family law (divorce, child custody, post-decree modifications, etc.), as well as personal injury (car accidents, slip and fall, wrongful death, etc.).  Justin also has extensive experience in criminal defense.  

Justin is a member of multiple legal organizations and associations.  He served as President of First Judicial District Bar Association (Jefferson County and Gilpin County) in 2016-2017, as well as on the Bar Association's Board of Trustees and Board of Governors.  He has received numerous awards and honors for his professional accomplishments, including being named as a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 and being honored with an "AV - Preeminent" rating by Martindale-Hubbell (the highest level of peer rating available).  Justin also was named a Colorado Super Lawyer in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Justin is a former editor of the Colorado Bar Association's Practitioner's Guide to Colorado Domestic Relations Law; having edited the section concerning the intersection of criminal law with domestic relations law in both 2012 and 2013. 

Not only is Justin an experienced trial lawyer, but he also is called upon regularly to present at continuing legal education seminars, at both the local and state level.
