Kacy, a native of North Mississippi, graduated from Hernando High School before attending Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. During college, she worked for various attorneys, starting out as a receptionist, and eventually became an experienced litigation paralegal in multiple areas of law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, and returned to the North Mississippi area continuing to work as a paralegal. After three additional years working as a paralegal, she attended law school at Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson. In law school, Kacy was selected to serve on the executive board of Law Review, was asked to join Phi Alpha Delta based on her grades, and was involved in a multitude of campus societies and activities as both a leader and a member. Since becoming a licensed attorney in the State of Mississippi Kacy has worked cases involving criminal matters, child support enforcement, divorce, adoption, guardianships/conservatorships, estates, and other matters both in criminal and family law.
