Karla M. Niemann is a graduate of Freeport High School, Highland Community College, Northern Illinois University and Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida.

Attorney Niemann has practiced law for over 15 years and represents clients in various areas of civil and criminal litigation. She concentrates her practice in family law, adoptions, guardianships, juvenile matters, criminal defense, expungement and sealing of criminal records, wills, powers of attorney, and personal injury litigation.

Karla was an Assistant State's Attorney from 2003 to 2007 with the Stephenson County State's Attorney's Office in Freeport, IL and has been in private practice from 2007 to current.

Karla is an active member in the Stephenson County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Karla is a also member of the Freeport Noon Kiwanis Club.  Having been a lifelong resident of Freeport, IL, Karla actively volunteers time within the community.
