I spent nearly 29 years as a magistrate in the Hamilton County Domestic Relations Court and issued thousands of decisions on custody, property, contempt, domestic violence, merits and nearly every other matter handled in that court. After I had completed enough time to receive my full retirement benefits, I entered private practice with The Farrish Law Firm where I have represented clients for the past five years. In addition to serving as a magistrate and as an attorney, I have been a speaker for numerous organizations including The Cincinnati Bar Association, The Ohio Bar Association, The Ohio Supreme Court’s Judicial College, The Ohio Association of Magistrates, The Ohio Association of Judges and The NBI. Before taking the bench, I was in private practice, served in The Public Defender's Office, taught at Chase College of Law and ran the Clinical Program at Chase College of Law. I have appeared in The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, The First District Court of Appeals, The 12th District Court of Appeals and The Supreme Court of Ohio.
