With a personable approach to practicing law, Kathryn Deckert provides her clients creative solutions during a very difficult period in their lives. She focuses in family law, specifically domestic disputes and divorce, child custody, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements.

Prior to joining Stein Sperling, Kathryn served as a law clerk in the Court of Common Pleas in York, Pennsylvania. She then worked as a staff attorney for the House of Ruth in Rockville, Maryland, where she represented victims of domestic violence in divorce and child custody matters. During her time there, Kathryn successfully litigated hundreds of protective orders and participated in the organization’s community education efforts.
