AttorneyKazuma Sonoda, Jr. has devoted his legal career to the defense of thoseaccused or charged with criminal offenses. His practice has taken himto federal andstate courts throughout . Sonoda is known for his zealous advocacy on behalf ofevery client.  Mr. Sonoda has successfully defended individuals chargedwith a wide variety of offenses from minor traffic violations and drugcharges to sex crimes and violent felonies. 

Named one of Georgia's Top Young Lawyers, he also has achieved SuperLawyers Rising Star status. Mr. Sonoda has appeared in Atlanta Magazine, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and was named one of Georgia's Legal Elite by Georgia Trend Magazine.

Mr.Sonoda is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal DefenseAttorneys and a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College inMacon, GA.  He is also an active member and on the Board of Directorsof the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association.   

Mr. Sonoda received his Juris Doctor degree in 2000 from the Emory University School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy and Spanish from Duke University where he was a member of the Chi Psi Fraternity.
