Kellie Mannette is a Board Certified Specialist in State Criminal Law and Juvenile Delinquency Law. 

Ms. Mannette has been dedicated to defending the rights of the accused her entire career. After graduating from law school, Ms. Mannette joined the Fair Trial Initiative as an Obsorn Fellow. In this position, she assisted in the representation of individuals facing the death penalty. During her time with FTI, Ms. Mannette was involved in two first degree murder trials, and assisted in the favorable resolution of several other capital cases. Additionally, Ms. Mannette represented individuals in district and juvenile court in Durham County.

Since finishing her fellowship, Ms. Mannette has been in private practice in Chapel Hill. She has represented individuals charged with all types of criminal offenses. Additionally, she has spent two semesters as an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at the UNC-Chapel Hill School's of Law's Youth Justice Clinic. There, Ms. Mannette supervised third year law students as they represented juveniles and young adults charged with crimes.
