Biography

Kelly has represented hundreds of children and adults with brain injuries, including those with environmental injuries from lead poisoning and toxic mold exposure. She is the supervising partner of her firm's Environmental Injury and Lead Poisoning Injury Litigation Group.

A legal force and advocate for those suffering with brain injuries, Kelly has been active in speaking engagements and informational presentations at neighborhood associations and civic groups across the Capital Region about lead poisoning prevention. She has also presented to national audiences of insurance adjusters, medical providers, educators, and attorneys about brain injury litigation and lead paint litigation.

Kelly's community service efforts also include active participation in her firm’s 4-year volunteer program on distracted driving awareness and prevention. The End Distracted Driving Student Awareness Initiative, developed in conjunction with 60 For Safety and The Casey Feldman Foundation, brings Kelly and other volunteer attorneys to schools across upstate New York where more than 4,500 students have learned about steps they can take to keep themselves and others safe on the road.

Kelly is also active in the East Greenbush School District community, serving as an active member and co-vice president of the Donald P. Sutherland PTO. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Association of New York State and is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Capital District Women’s Bar Association, and the Bar Associations of New York State, Albany County and Rensselaer County.
