Biography
K.O. Herston was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from Vanderbilt University and the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he was on the editorial board of the Tennessee Law Review. Before his knees started refusing to cooperate, K.O. was an avid endurance athlete who raced in five marathons, including those in New York City, Los Angeles, and Paris (France). He also raced in numerous triathlons, including a Half-Ironman and twice in the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships. Now he enjoys mountain biking all over East Tennessee, boating on Norris Lake in the summer, photography, and hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains.
