Prior to co-founding The Reputation Law Group, Kelsey Berkley worked at a Denver based firm practicing family law and criminal defense. Kelsey works with clients in divorce, parenting-time, child support, and allocation of parental responsibilities matters in the family law field and represents individuals accused of municipal, misdemeanor, and felony criminal charges. 

Kelsey’s legal career started as a Deputy Public Defender in El Paso & Teller Counties, after which time she expanded her practice to include domestic relations law. Kelsey has litigated over 50 felony and misdemeanor criminal jury trials, including misdemeanor and felony domestic violence matters, DUI’s, DWAI's, aggravated robberies, sexual assault, and drug misdemeanors and felonies. In addition to jury trial experience, Kelsey has litigated constitutional motions hearings, written numerous appellate briefs, and appeared on behalf of her clients in countless dissolution and parenting proceedings. Many domestic relations and criminal matters overlap at times and Kelsey understands the need for open communication when advising clients and guiding them through their case.

Kelsey was nominated as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2023, 2024 and 2025. In 2019 Kelsey received the Professional of the Year award from ARC of the Pikes Peak Region for the work and assistance she provided for her intellectually and developmentally disabled clients.
