Kelsey is passionate about helping small businesses set themselves up for success. She works with owner operated businesses from start up to sale; including entity formation, contract package formation, contract review and negotiation, employment policy formation, hiring practice formation, employee categorization, employee termination, and mergers & acquisitions.

Kelsey earned her Juris Doctorate degree in 2013 from The University of Colorado Law School and her Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Communication, as well as a Business Foundation Certification, from The University of Texas at Austin in 2009. Prior to forming Shofner Consulting, PLLC, Kelsey was in-house counsel at a local company focusing on contract management and HR advising.
