Kelton has earned more than fifteen years of trial experience in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and California and others in a wide range general liability and complex liability disputes. These include estate litigation, trust disputes, will contests, bad faith insurance actions, class-action suits.

Kelton is actively licensed in Pennsylvania and California. He is a Member of the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association, the San Francisco Bar Association and serves on various committees thereof. Kelton also serves as a member to the Allegheny County Bar Association Estates Law Group.

In 2012, Kelton founded the Law Offices of Kelton M. Burgess, LLC in Pittsburgh, PA an Estate Planning Boutique. His practice is dedicated to helping families and individuals develop estate plans to ensure asset protection, tax minimization, and ease of administration. Kelton a wealth of experience in estate planning and probate administration. Kelton often is a guest speaker at seminars and conferences on the topics of estate planning and administration.
