Biography
A native of Oregon, Ken received his law degree from the University of Oregon School of law in 2005 and has been practicing family law since 2007. Ken received his bachelor's degree in English from the University of Oregon in 1994. During law school, Ken worked as a law clerk at Jaqua & Wheatley, in Eugene, Oregon. He has also worked as an Unemployment Insurance adjudicator for the State of Oregon Employment Department. Prior to law school, Ken was a case assistant at Stoel Rives, in Portland, Oregon, and a waiter at Oba, also in Portland. From 2007 until 2023, Ken practiced at Stahancyk, Kent & Hook where he was a shareholder.
Ken performed pro bono work through Lane County Legal Aid while in law school. He has also volunteered for the Greenhouse shelter for homeless youth in Portland, Oregon, and has worked as a volunteer forester for the US Forest Service. Ken enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and also reading science fiction. He is an avid fisherman and runner, and has been a Nike footwear field tester.
