Biography

Kenneth J. Shakeshaft graduated from the University of Illinois Law School after receiving an undergraduate degree in International Economics. He founded the Shakeshaft Law Firm in 1982. He has emphasized helping and representing individuals in claims against insurance companies, large corporations or government entities.

Mr. Shakeshaft is admitted to the Bar for the United States Supreme Court, the United States Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court of Colorado along with the Colorado Supreme Court.

Mr. Shakeshaft is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. He was a member of the Board of Directors for CTLA for several years. He has authored articles on subjects such as workers' compensation, Longshoreman Workers' compensation, personal injuries and Social Security Disability.

On a personal note, he is the father of three daughters and now a grandfather. He has worked as a high school basketball referee and is working on becoming an amateur photographer.
