Biography
I firmly believe that everyone should have equal access to justice, and that all individuals deserve high quality legal representation when challenging unlawful discrimination at work or other egregious civil rights violations, even when that means taking on a wealthy corporation or those in positions of power.
My practice is devoted exclusively to representing individuals who have suffered discrimination or retaliation at work or who have experienced other violations of their civil rights. Among other things, I handle cases involving sex discrimination, sexual harassment, hostile work environment, pregnancy discrimination, breastfeeding discrimination, family responsibilities discrimination, violations of the Equal Pay Act (EPA), violations of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), disability discrimination, race discrimination, national origin discrimination, and age discrimination. I also handle cases involving unlawful retaliation against individuals who have complained about discrimination or otherwise engaged in protected whistleblowing activities, and other wrongful termination cases. In addition, I handle police brutality and excessive force cases as well as discrimination against individuals in places of public accommodation.
I am admitted to practice in both the federal and state courts in Colorado. I am a member of the Colorado Plaintiff’s Employment Lawyers Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Colorado Women's Bar Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, and the Faculty of Federal Advocates.
