I have been practicing family law since graduating from law school.  I have been named in The Best Lawyers in America; North Carolina Super Lawyers;  North Carolina Legal Elite, as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in North Carolina; and I am a Fellow with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.   I am certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a Family Law Specialist and I am a DRC Certified Mediator as well as a certified Parent Coordinator.  I am Managing Editor of the publication “Critical Family Law Cases” a book published by the N.C. Bar Association.   I regularly serve the Family Law Bar as a speaker and course planner for various continuing legal education programs, and have contributed articles to legal publications.  I planned and presented at a seminar on Electronic Evidence that was highly acclaimed and earned the law equivalent of an Academy Award; and I recently planned and presented the Sequel.   I have a wide level of experience and I will be by your side the entire ride.
