Kristen strives to help minimize conflict, guide clients to act in the best interest of their children, and be responsive to clients’ needs. She earned her undergraduate degree in communications from UCSD and graduated from California Western School of Law cum laude in 1997. Kristen has had broad legal experience. Early in her career she worked as a judicial intern and as an associate at a large family law firm before moving into civil law focusing on NASD securities arbitrations, commercial contract disputes, wrongful termination, sexual harassment cases, and insurance bad faith cases. She also spent several years as an estate planning attorney, preparing and amending wills and trusts, before returning to family law. She is a member of the Inns of Court, Fiorenzo v. Lopardo chapter and the San Diego Family Law Bar Association.

The experience she’s gained in her law career and as a wife, mother of two sons, member of the PTO, and volunteer art teacher give her great perspective to help her clients navigate the difficult waters of a family law case.
