Biography
Attorney Kristin D. Straily earned her J.D. cum laude in 2011 from the University of Tulsa. She received her B.S. in Biological Sciences from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She served as Combat Medic in the United States Army.
While at the University of Tulsa College of law, Ms. Straily was a member of the honor fraternity Phi Delta Phi, served as an articles editor for the Energy Law Journal, and competed in the National Health Law Moot Competition at Southern Illinois University. She was also active in the Law & Medicine Society serving as President and in the Resources, Energy and Environmental Law Society as Vice President.
Ms. Straily has been admitted to practice in the State of Oklahoma as well as in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma.
Ms. Straily also volunteers for Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma and served as a board member for a local Federally Qualified Health Center. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and volunteering.
Ms. Straily practices Social Security Disability, and has successfully represented hundreds of clients in front of Administrative Law Judges at Social Security Disability hearings. Additionally, Ms. Straily has successfully appealed Social Security cases in the Federal United States District Courts. She has assisted clients in estate planning needs including preparing wills, trusts, and living wills. She also has experience with more complicated estate planning issues such as special needs trusts and elder care trusts.
